Shopping destinations with top national retailers include the Paddock Mall, Gaitway Plaza, Boyd Market Center, Shady Oaks, and Ocala West. A road-widening expansion on I-75 broke ground in February 2025, adding an auxiliary lane to both the north and southbound roads along 31 miles from SR-44 to SR-326. A heavily trafficked corridor, the $550M project is expected to reduce travel delays by ±92% and will have a regional economic impact of $2.3B. Also included in the project is the anticipated diverging diamond interchange at I-75 and NW 49th St, where a 74K SF Buc-ee's travel center is planned.


Strong Healthcare Presence
