Jones Lang LaSalle (“JLL”), on behalf of the City of Parkland, is pleased to exclusively offer the opportunity to acquire the fee simple interest in Village in the Park (the “Property” or “Site”), a 34-acre development site occupying an irreplaceable suburban infill location along Nob Hill Road in Parkland. The affluent and exclusive community of Parkland, while boasting some of the strongest demographics and property values in the country, lacks sufficient retail space—and most importantly—a true gathering place for the community.
Formerly the site of the Heron Bay Golf Course, the City of Parkland recognized the subject Property’s potential to meet the Parkland community’s need and purchased the site to guide its reimagination. After years of careful planning to synthesize the Village in the Park town-center concept, the City now seeks a developer to bring the project to life.
Spanning 34 acres, the Property’s scale affords investors virtually unlimited flexibility in transforming one of the last remaining large-scale parcels in Parkland into a new town center. Parkland sees the Village in the Park as a new hub for the community: a place that draws people for all kinds of reasons beyond dining and shopping—and feels as if it has been a part of the community for decades.
Critical to the City’s plans are to create a “village” with a timeless feel that melds into the existing fabric of the community, energizes the populous and will be a landmark for decades to come.
