  • On completion the development will comprise 91 dwellings, with an aggregate NSA of 97,854 sq ft (avg. dwelling size of 1,075 sq ft). The unit mix is weighted towards three-bedroom houses (66 units / 72.5%), with the remaining 25 units comprising efficiently sized four bedrooms (avg. dwelling size 1,256 sq ft). 


  • First completions are scheduled for May 2025, with the last unit handover in July 2027 (4 plots per month). Our client will be happy to discuss an accelerated build programme to suit investor requirements. 


  • Fernham Homes are a privately owned housebuilder, headquartered in West Malling, Kent and operating in the South-East of England. Sean Ellis (formerly a Board Director at Berkley Group) has led the company’s ambitious growth, which has seen staffing numbers triple to a head count of 30 in the past 12 months.


  • Further illustrating the rapid growth of Fernham, is the depth of their Landbank, with future opportunities such as Blean on the northern outskirts of Canterbury (59 units) being brought forward in the next few months. A further five sites (388 units) in the South East are also appropriate for SFH and are within Fernham’s control.


  • Commensurate with Fernham Homes’ ambitious growth plans, the acquisition of the Faversham will offer the incoming investor an opportunity to create a long-term strategic partnership with our Client, who have a significant development pipeline and are building into their business model the additionality (in terms of plot sales) that institutional grade SFH investment offers.
